Installing windows 7 64bit on 2 OCZ 60GB SATA III drives in RAID 0 and just want to know, do I need to create a RAID disk when I setup the RAID or will windows 7 install drivers and be ok?
setup the raid within the raid bios usually have to push like ctrk I or the likes (raid must be set in normal bios first) after that load windows as normal it should pick up the raid and install the drivers. You'll know the drivers are there if it sees the raided drives at the start of loading.
Installed my 2nd OCZ agility 3 drive and created a RAID 0. Jesus,Mary and Joseph it is lightning quick. In HD Tune Pro i am getting 1126.4MB/sec and the windows orb doesn't even appear before the desktop is loaded. Very very happy.

lmao forgot to reapply my oc but it doesnt help alot more anyways
but trim doesnt work with raid even if ya turn it on best to leave it off and just let it idle a couple hours every now and then GC has gotten aggresive of late and works very well for raided ssd's
Here is a link to my latest SSD drive scores in CrystalDiskMark. Didn't allow me to upload the .jpg picture into this windows. Sorry Guys. Anyhow, interested in what you think of the scores.
cool, thanks mate. I read that a pair of SSD's in RAID 0 will eventually end up performing the same as 1 SSD because there is no TRIM in RAID0. How true is this or is it just BS?
