Ok 1st off I built my rig in October and I was waiting for the new 6900 amds to come out, so I bought a 1gb Evga 460 sc to fill the gap until some new gen' cards came out.

But from all the recent results of the 500 series I'm going to stay with the green team, but this has left me a little confused as to what my best options are, bang for £ as it were, I don't see the point in spending a lot for small gains.

Do I

A. Just buy another 460 for Sli

B. Sell my 460 and buy 2 560's

C. Sell my 460 and buy 1 Gainward 570 Phantom

D. Save a little more and go for a 580

All opinions and advice would be a big help and very welcome

Oh system spec is: i7 950 @ 4ghz, 6gb dominator gt 2k @ 8-9-8-24, rampage 3 extreme, corsair ax850 psu, 1gd evga sc gtx 460 and the res I game at is 1920 x 1080

Best bang for the buck IMO would be adding another 460. That will be your cheapest option. SLI works really well, but you could run into issues.

Next best option would be to sell the 460 and buy a 570. If money isn't really an issue just save a little more and go for the 580.

Only other thing I would do is join up with the folding team

all depends how much you want to spend seeing as you allready have a gtx 460 adding another will also give you quite an improvment in preformance i have both set ups n the gtx 460's are slightly better than a single 570. if money is no object then its got to be a gtx 580

I would pickup 2 GTX 560 cards, im a sucker for SLI and if you can get 2 cards to outperform the single most powerfull card for less money, then it isnt a really hard choice imo.
