As in the title does Asus have an update utility like Msi's Live Update as I've never used Asus and not sure what they do or don't have Cheers!

I'm pretty sure if you install the asus suite it will advise of updates to installed apps if that what your asking.

Yes mate pretty much as live update does the likes of drivers and apps I thought that surely Asus would have something that does the same thing and thanks for the reply

Asus suite can be stupid at times. But I’ve never really had any issues I was aware of. Tolagarf the app itself will keep any installed apps updated but I don’t think it’ll do drivers Excalibur50.

Id always do the BIOS manually. AISuite can pop up and let you know there is one, just when it asks if you want to update. Say no and DIY

It can cause instability with no clue. There are tons of people on Asus forums and OC.net that can confirm this. Plus, the uninstall does not get rid of everything. It takes a bit of CC Cleaner and some times manual reg edits to totally wipe the system of the program.

My 3770K rig would BSOD for no reason at all. Drove me nuts trying to track it down. Got rid of AI suite, and problems solved. There are tons of people still reporting the same problem even today.

Tbh any Asus software I've ever used is complete garbage, in fairness there isn't much I've had from any brand that works well. Ironically MSI in my experience is the most stable despite them not being the biggest company in terms of overall market share, Asus holds that crown by a massive Longshot.

Thanks for all the replies and I was going to do the bios manual it was just to keep the rest upto date but if it's crap I won't use it, and NBD you're right about Msi's live update been using it for years and it's always worked great.

Agreed. When I was new to PCs I used Live Update 5/6. Easiest thing ever.
