Displayport, DVI, HDMI or DP hub?

Okay here's the thing. I'm planning on getting three extra BenQ 2460HM screens. Now the problem I have is this: My GPU only has 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 2x Dual-Link DVI ports.

So I went searching for some options and I came past this : https://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-127785

Obviously I could just connect one screen with HDMI, one with DP and 2 with Dual-link DVI. That's the easy way, but I was curious about the nice DP splitter. I there anyone here that knows more about this? I'd really like to know the pros and cons.

Yours truly,

Can I ask the need for a total of 4 screens?

I have 3 myself, and even then the 3rd barely gets used. I really can't see the point of the extra effort in buying and setting up 4.

Personally I would stick with DP and the as it's the newer technology plus uniformity is generally a good thing :)

Because I can, that's why!

Yes, but is the DP splitter a useful thingie? Or does it get me latency and loss of quality?

I remember reading a while ago on guru3d about Club3D's DP hub running 6 monitors from it and there was no loss of image quality and latency was normal as with any multi monitor setup :)
