I joined the site back before it was OC3D, it was SysXtreme in the very beginning, and I joined the day it was put online by my good friend Jim (who I so happen to be meeting next Wednesay in Florida).

Yeah to clarify, totally meant when he joined, FragTek's like, user number 133 or something I've been here longer than Mr TTL as well (I'm 449) From way back in the SysXtreme Days Oh how things have changed.

Frag do you remember that MacBook Pro mod with the coloured plastic inserts for the apple logo? That was one of the first times I'd opened up a MacBook Pro following what you did.. No-one else I know in the UK did the same thing, I think my dad still has that laptop laying about Always loved it!

Oh christ yeah I remember the amount of TIM you had to sort I was no where near brave enough to do that at the time lol (which is kind of sad thinking about it, because I'm pretty sure the main board or GPU is what's dead in it now )

I miss that laptop dearly. As a matter of fact I'd be willing to bet that laptop would still be better than every laptop I've owned since it. I need to circle back to a MBP before long.....

I hate the word bottlenecked.

I hate the word too.

Even when I am using 4 GPUs for gaming I don't get CPU bottlenecks, I just turn the settings up to use all the graphics power and to keep the fps down.

The only place I tend to see CPU bottlenecks is running old synthetic benchmarks which people should have stopped using years ago.

I think it is pathetic using LN2 to run 10 year old synthetic benchmarks to avoid a CPU bottleneck.

I <3 my new vid card. Wayyyyyy more powerful than my previous pair of glitchy Crossfired R7 370's. Handles games at 4k with ease. That was a good $250 bill.
