dfi mobo's round ide/sata cables-uv reactive?

just wondering if the round ide/sata cables that come with the dfi sli-d mobo are uv reactive or not?

if they are what color do they come up as?

since ive started a thread ive been wondering if its ok to use a magnetised screwdriver to build your rig?

do you need any special sort of tools? :eh: (i already have screwdrivers,bits,pliers,blades etc from my hobby)

oh yeah and what does "l33t" mean

Yes, DFI rounded cables are yellow uv reactive.

and 1337 means = elite... It's the 1337 way to spell elite

More like a Green....or Yellowish-Green......at least that's what came with my NFII Lanparty.

Yeah they've switched it up a bit since NF2, it's a bright "hi-liter" yellow for the NF4 boards (I think for NF3 as well, not positive though).

Yeah they come up bright yellow, the same color as the pci slots, ram slots, and the hsf mounting bracket.

And to answer your screw-driver question. Yes, it's ok to use a low-mag screwdriver. EPoX supplies one with each of their motherboards and it works great. I wouldn't recommend a hardware store bought magnetic screw-driver as they usually have pretty high polarity.

My S-ATA cables are the DFI ones but the IDE ones are bought seperate before I even had the DFI board - plus they're a nice blue
