Defragmentation takes +2 days?

Hello all,
after reading some very positive reviews on O&O Defrag, I decided to give it a go.

The % of fragmented is a mere 5%, even though I've read it should be least 10% before it is worth it I still decided to do it. However, according to the program it wont be done till another 2 days and well over 17 hours. Can this really be correct for a mere 5%?

Obviously im not gonna let my PC sit for 2 days straight, will it hurt anything if I stop a defrag?

I meant what drive is it, lol - it could just be a really complex indepth program matey.

The windows one doesnt take that long though tbh. Infact Win7 does it automagically

Yes, im defragging the C: drive. Am I misunderstanding something?
I have Win 8.1, not sure if it does it automatically, but oh well.

*facepalm* ssd or mechanical drive

edit: posted without refreshing.

defragging a 1TB drive, even with 5% fragmentation will take an absolute AGE.

also O&O is pretty slow in some settings...

Haha, its cool. I dont believe there is a Barracuda SSD model anyway.
The defrag however is already done, so its all good now. :)

FYI Windows defrag is, as it has always been, shit..

O&O is better, but I wouldn't let it do the daily 'auto' defrag, it will lessen the life of your drive unnecessarily.

Having now switched to exclusively SSD's I have to say I don't miss defragging :P
