DDR3 Reaches New Heights

And the price will be as high as those speeds. I thought that recent reviews found very little difference between the frequencies (like 1-2fps in 100) and the latencies mattered even less. I'm pepared to accept I'm wrong, but I didn't think the speed was that important. Also, will any mobo acutally support these at full speed, and at 2.1V did they need water cooling, or was there a memory based silicon smoke screen occuring?

It bodes well for the future tho

I'm having enough trouble with the 8GB I've got now, I'm running at 1333, had to declock my CPU to 3.2 and raise NB and VTT voltages and mem voltage, and it might be stable now?

Those speeds certainly are impressive. Now if only there was an actual advantage to having your memory running that fast...

Think about it, your memory is limited by your FSB or in AMD's case the HT link. Anything over this speed isn't really going to set the house on fire...
