Intersting cable management :o

I hope this is a good "interesting"! :D Yeah, behind the motherboard tray = insanity, I actually had to push the case up against a wall so I could close it properly... :rollingla :nutkick: :D But I tried to make sure the mess wasn't visible via the front. ;)

Hey everyone, just thought I'd show pics of my minor upgrades.

Upgrades:

  • CM690 II Advanced Case
  • PA120.2
  • Blue UV Tubing 1/2"
  • XSPC bay rad/pump mount
  • Zalman Fan Controller

Unfortunately the hardware hasn't changed due to lack of money! But with the new ATi 6000 cards on the way they will hopefully give me more options.

how come you have not mounted a double rad in the top?

i think you woulde need smaller tubbing tho.

what rad is at the bottom i heard just coolermaster rads could be mounted there

I do have a rad at the top

my old RS240 is there and a new PA120.2 at the bottom. It fits perfectly too- I double checked this all before buying.

Why would I need smaller tubing?

i one question tho, in the last picture is the rad/fans mounted with tie raps?

Thanks mate.

Ha, yes you're almost correct. See I had an issue putting the rad in and the PSU so I've had to re-attach the one fan with a cable tie but I've managed to attach the bottom end of the rad to the second fan closest to the front of the case.

Also, does anyone know which SATA6 port to plug a SSD in? Currently it's in the white port, but the manual says the grey and white are SATA6... It's confusing.

Cheers.

Either one, the white run of the Intel chip, the grey or Dark blue run on a third party chip, so I'd use those white ones like you did =)
