Here's the latest pics of my rig. I've recently had to change the CPU block and find space for my 560GTX-Ti Hawk GPU.

I'm currently leak testing right now, so the updated and final images will be up soon (also I'm planning on sleeving with paracord on a few of the cables [mainly a PSU extender and GPU extenders) so I'm also waiting for (money) and the shipment to come in.

So here's the old hardware and the tubing (most of it) un-installed.

Hardware removed! And ready for a spring (or as it's summer) clean.

The motherboard and CPU waiting to be cleaned of the AS5.

IMG_2132.jpg

Going to clean it up with some ArticClean and slap on some NT-H1

IMG_2136.jpg

And a little shot or two of the old EK block (probably going to RMA if I can find the box...)

All nice and clean again!

Now to install the new block, the Heatkiller LT ver. 3!

And finally I have my replacement PSU, the Corsair HX650! I must say, during the leak testing it's sooo sooo quite! Highly recommend it.

Motherboard installed, the PSU's black and blue stickers work well in with my colour scheme.

And now for the prize! I present, the MSI 560GTX-Ti 1GB Hawk!

Now I realised that I had an issue with the tubing (due to the card and new CPU block layout) it was difficult with the barbs I had to have the PA120.2 rad (bottom one) connect to the CPU block. So I had to get in a right-angled 3/8 BSTP barb. Thankfully it arrived the next day and I was quick in setting it up. In the mean time I wanted to give sleeving a go.

IMG_2151.jpg

It's a first try I'll admit it's a little sketchy but it's okay. I realised how cheap and nasty the sleeving I bought was (PET) and the cables were still seen through it. So I'm waiting now on some paracord to get in stock.

So back onto the case!

Here are some images of the current leak test. Been testing for about 2-3 hours now and no problems. Well no problems since the first leak, but it's all sorted out now.

Cheers for watching! Will sort out the final pics soon, once I've sorted out cable management.

Might as well post mine up here.

I tried to make it as neat inside as possible, but at the end of the day who doesn't want to just turn the darn thing on?

Tubing's not brilliant but it's doing it's job.

Enjoy! Should probably get some images int he dark...

looks good, i have basically the same case (mines nvidia edition) and was wondering where did you get the slim yate loons from? and which versions are they? the 1300rpm or 1800rpm?

Thanks guys. :) It is a modded case (obviously) hence the white painted areas and random upside-down 5.2/1" bay [mini tray mod :D).

j.woody: got the fans from here and they're 1800 rpm. :) With a little modding at the top of the case (i.e. remove the plastic grill on the top panel) you can fit them up there and have a double rad underneath.

Very nice build :)

The watercooling stuff looks familiar ;)

There's a very nice finish on it, well done :)

Cheers guys. :)

@maxw: Your nick seems very familiar as well... I think I got them off a guy called Max too! Small world, aye? ;)

The only downside to the final case is hat I had to bend the side panel angled bit at the back so I could put it on and not move the single rad. You can sort of see what I mean on the 2nd to last picture at the back of the case - see the bentness? Lol, but I don't mind seeing as I'll never see (only when I'm opening the inside) the back. :)

I'm pretty tempted into getting a better GPU but I'm seeing myself having to buy another double rad. (even though I'm not overclocking). :(

Haha, although I modded it to have the white running through the middle. ;) But I think painting the inside would have been a good idea... but I'm not too bothered. :)

Thanks though!

I like that case and like the look! Nice job. Good cable management and yeah, I would change the tubing. Don't really like how the tubing stands out in such a way.

Cheers dude, I see what you mean about the colour of the tubing.

Don't know why, I kind of like it. It was bought off a mate and I think the white went pretty well with my overall colour scheme.

Well m8 if you like it that's all that counts. Not my taste, I like everything but the tubing. I think I would have gone with Grey or Black tubing not sure. :p

Yeah, I was considering black, but my mate had only white and clear - and I'm not too fond of UV stuff and windows. :p

But it's cool, everyone's entitled to they're likes and dislikes! It's just nice getting different views. :)

I'm liking your rig mate. Initially I thought the front fascia looked a little funky but it's grown on me. Thanks for the share :)

Haha thanks! It's better with the flash off.

At first I wasn't sure I wanted a "Silver" Bay, as I'd have liked it all to be black, but with my mod it turned out to work nicely. :)

i wish i could get all my cables behind the mobo like that >_> huge sqeze in my case

oh and quick question? whats with the broken looking disk drive?

It was a struggle to close the door afterwards, I had to push the case upagainst the wall to keep it shut tight. :D :p

It's actually a pathetic mod I did. I took an old optical IDE drive and turned it into a tray! :D It's pretty useful, I keep USB sticks and such in there so I don't lose them. :)

LOL great idea. I need to remember that when I have a broken black bezeled DVD drive :D

Hmmm may just paint one of those broken drives with beige bezels I have lying around...

Do it! It was pretty fun taking it all apart.

...As sinister as it sounds. :p Not to mention, it's a great way of recycling.
