Danger Den DD-GX2 Cooling

Last week my Danger Den 7950GX2 water block arrived from Extreme Prometeia and i would like to share a couple of pictures and results from my new watercooling setup, unfortunaly i havent had the chance to do any serious benching yet because i am still leak testing the system but i will update with results as soon as i have them.

Now yesterday i got impatience so i decided to run a couple of benchmarks just to se how the temp seemed and i was really surprised, i had 5-6 degrees cooler than in the kobaltcomputers review even when my card was overclocked.

Another thing thath surprised me was how easy it was to assemble the waterblock i thought it would be alote harder than it was, offcorse it is more work than with a waterblock for a singelcard but there is not any difficulties it just takes more time.

Now i did a couple of things wrong at the beginning which took me some time to fix but thath was just user error and if you follow the instructions there shouldnt be any trouble setting the cooling up.

Because i sold all of my previous watercooling gear i had to order not only the water block but almost the whole setup, the only thing i keept from my earlier setup was my Danger Den reservoir.

The things i recived from Extreme Prometeia where, Thermochill HE120.2 , Laing D5-Vario , Nickel Barb, alote of tygon tubing and offcourse the Danger Den 7950GX2 water block, evrything has ½" fittings.

There was no problem taking the cards apart from eachother, but the bridge connecting the card´s seemed very fragile so when taking them appart its a good idea to be careful

The original cooler had great contact whith both the GPU and the memories, however the original thermal compound was pretty bad.

I changed the thermal compound to Arctic Ceramique.

I really like the appearance on the Water Block.

The first thing i did was putting the waterblock togheter alone whithout the card, this was just to make sure the block wasnt leaking.

Everything seemed fine and i couldnt find any leaks.

And then i assembled the water block on the card for a couple of hours leak testing.

Please excuse my bad english,

I am not sure if it is allowed to write two post after eachother but i could only post 10 pictures in he first post so to fit them all i had to use two posts, if its not allowed then please erase this post.

Here are some screens to show the temp and some results, now like i said earlier i havent had a chance yet to bench anything seriously but as soon as i do i will offcourse post screens of thath too.
