Never expected THIS!

As you all know I RMA'ed my Seagate HDD. I requested the RMA Saturday, April 23, 2005 @ 1:21PM. (lol I still got the email)

I sent it to Seagate (in Texas) via Priority Mail, and wow! I never expected it but I walked inside the back door today, got a glass of milk, and walk over to the counter where there lays my Seagate! I was like, "???" I thought they had re-sent the old one back, but upon examining the label it says its refurbished. Darn thats fast. I shipped it out Monday!

A week. Wow. Beats the h*** out of MSI's, which took a month! I even shipped it with FedEx for them, but wow. I'm Impressed!

I may have to try seagate some day. My wester digital is 73h 5h17 and I got it half price too. I'll most likely be upgrading to raptor some day.

Yeah I wanna get a Raptor really....just the cash is in short supply in my Grove of Cash trees at the mo, so it will have to wait.

By the way: limqareb: I hate that damn little POS thing that tries to detect your ISP and shit. The only thing it got right was firefox and windows XP....agghghgrhghghgrrhgr! hehe

Yeah me too...although I have a 76gb drive as my only internal drive (20gig USB drive too) I still wouldn't mind having a bit extra to fill up

I got a $70 WD 160 GB 7200 rpm 8mb buffer (best $70 I ever spent) for programs and windows, then I got a cheap samsung 120 GB 5200 rpm 2mb buffer (decent) for DLs and backup. Having a backup drive is the best, especially if you reformat a lot cause of porn sites.

Yeah well I've got a 76gig Maxtor for £35 and I have it in two partitians...one for backup and one for windows. If I have to reformat then I just do the windows bits....haven't had to yet cause my PC is pretty much fee of spyware/adware at the mo!! Maybe I don't go on as many p0rn sites as you do hehe!!

ye seagates gr8. i missed it. it's FAST. my hitachi is nice too (if u didnt no i have 2 drives)

One hitachi w2mb cache 7200rom 80gb for junk & my "my documents"

and my seagate.
