Cutting Techflex without a Hot Knife

Hi guys,

I recently purchased some Techflex Flexowrap braiding (the none cleancut stuff).

Is there a way of cutting this stuff without owning a proper hot knife, what I mean is can you heat up some scissors or a normal kitchen knife and use that.

Cut it with some scissors, then just put a lighter to the end quickly

or heat up a stanley blade on the cooker

I cut my braiding with a sharp pair of scissors then burn the ends quicky.

I cut mine with Scissors too !
