Custom Made Case

I plan on making a case myself possibly out of plexiglass or at least that's what I like. I wanted some other opinions on what kind of sheets I can buy to cut and make my own custom case for my water cooled PC. Someone said cooling in a plexiglass case isn't that great but I've had a clear plexiglass case for 5 years that was completely air cooled and I haven't had any issues with it plus this case will be water cooled not air cooled. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I am thinking the case will be black as I'm going for a black and green theme.

Current thoughts are this:

I think you might have to get fairly creative dude, clear cases are very dated now, the scene has moved on in a rather large way.

^ That. I thought they were cool at first but then they got old very quickly. Cable management is also very hard (well not management but hiding it) and they just tend to look rather messy and unfinished.

A hybrid would be excellent though.

I think black/white plexi cases look amazing.

There is a guy in the UK who makes custom plexi cases and they look amazing.

I was thinking of doing something similar out of white or black plexi but it worked out really really expensive so I ended up modding a case instead.

I even did a design on sketchup

I have decided I am going to try dark gray transparent plexi with green lights and see how it pans out. If it looks horrible I'll just scratch it and come up with something new

. I love projects!

My last issue is a power button....and it completely skipped my mind. Does anyone just sell power/reset buttons with the wires that go to the motherboard or do I need to steal one from an old case?

Exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately they were out of what I needed so I searched two sites which were also out of stock so I thought I would post up one I found just in case anyone else is looking for power buttons and can't find them.
