Look at Lutro0 customs youtube channel. Its not hard at all for the heat-shrink-less method. If you can put together a PC you can sleeve cables. My first couple of times I just sleeved the cables that came from the power supply. Now I can make my own at any length. The minimum tools you will need are a molex atx pin extractor and some wire cutters to cut the sleeving. Also you need some heatshrink and a lighter and thats it.
The first time I recommend doing one wire at a time. Take it out of the connector on both ends of the modular cable and sleeve it and put it back in. Also write down the pin-out as you take the cable out. Also if you have a Power supply that has more than one wire going to a pin, be careful and make sure you get everything back the way it came

made me mind up i will do what tom said. i am going to get the corsair power cables for now but when i have ready to do my full case modding i will do then my self but thanks for the help everyone
