Coor this thread is still going. Be interesting to see what an i7 rig with Tri-SLI gets :p

Well I'm hoping to go i7 after crimbo and when new nVidia is out I'll be SLi (tri-SLi is too rich for me :D )

When I had my other comp 4400+x2 I was running at around 400-600 FPS, sometimes reached over 1000.

EDIT: OMG just noticed why does everyone have low fps :o, this was @ standard clock settings @ 7800GT haha.

Possible???

Was that highest settings too yeh?

Never seen that lol

Yes if I remember correctly, near the door was my big FPS boost :D.

Don't understand why I had such high FPS, wasn't a bug either, seemed the same with Fraps also. I had the top spec hardware back then :P, WinXP minimum no processes, running GFX settings @ low @ graphics card control panel. The game was set to max though, I remember that gave me huge FPS boost.

Ummm I had that CPU on 64bit and 32bit OS with X800XTPE and 8800GTX and in stress test never got over that because it was simply crap. Wasn't a bottleneck it was more of trying to push a camel through the eye of a needle. Were you running LN2 or something because water and air never got me even half your claimed.

Air, standard heatsink and few case fans in Thermaltake Kandalf.

I did post some pics on another forum, I been looking for it for ages!
