If they go bankrupt i may "cry". But seriously it will be a shame if they go under.
Crysis 3 for me felt far more like an advertisement for the game engine from Crytek than an actual game tbh.
Although it did run very smoothly and look absolutely gorgeous on my rig (had a 7950 at the time).
I played Crysis 3 last night to test temps on the 780 Ti for another forum member and I didn't notice any input lag, Same goes for the rest of the Crysis games, Tried them late last night and honestly didn't notice anything, Maybe this is due to newer hardware ? I don't know.
I've noticed this lots on other forums not just here and it's usually when people have too much time on their hands or are just generally nit picking they actively look for problems with a fine tooth comb, Be it games or anything in life for that matter and to be honest it's kind of sad.
That's probably because you aren't used to good input. I am, i have new hardware, there isn't a single game running cryengine with decent input. I don't have to search for it, it's not a hunch, the input lag is the first thing i notice and there is no ignoring it. It's not nitpicking, when a game like crysis has input lag that destroys the game. Excuse me for having standards.
If you are okay with the cryengine then that is your opinion, but don't call it sad when other people don't share your view because they value functionality over graphics.
Nobody who plays competitive fps games likes the cryengine.
I don't know, I'm with Dicehunter on this one. I've been playing these games since Crysis 1 dropped and I haven't noticed any input lag either. I'm not running cutting edge gear but I'd say it's fairly high end.
Have you noticed this with Motion Blur turned off? Maybe this is what people are calling "lag". With out blur the movement does seem more crisp and sometimes I play with it off but usually I prefer it on High cause it makes it more realistic in my opinion.

Honestly never been that bad on mine, Something funky going on with your system maybe ?
Or maybe I've just never looked for it ^_^
Nothing wrong with my system nor is it my video. Some people notice it, others don't. I used to be like you until someone showed me it. Their rig wasn't low end either. To be honest I don't notice it as much if I'm above 60fps, which I can do easily. Cryengine makes use of hardware properly after all.
Even I can see the input lag in Crysis. Its one of those things that most people (and including myself) don't notice unless you know what you are looking for. Its worse on a high refresh rate monitor.

Nexuiz, an arena shooter which uses cryengine gets around it by basically making the maps unintensive (yet still purdy) as possible, bringing the fps up. They also did some other things as well to reduce input lag. I miss that game![]()
Not use to good input and new hardware ? Pretentious much ?
Look at the hardware in my sig, Is that just fog then ? -_-
Your hardware doesn't change anything about your perception of inputlag.

What is with you and having an aggressive attitude all the time ? Me and others have noticed this, Bad atmosphere at home or something or just an aggressive person in general ?
You basically said my concerns are pointless, justifying it by saying that your hardware is superior to mine, hence your perception must be better. What did you expect.
There's no point in covering up my points in sarcastic replies and nice words, i just want to get my opinion across, you know that i don't mean to offend you. I never make these discussions personal.
I never said your concerns are pointless, Put the massive bag of weed down dude, Your getting a little paranoid![]()

That's pretty much calling my concerns pointless.
I never said you did I ?, "I said I have seen this on other forums a lot not just here", If I meant you I would say you, Seekax, But I did not![]()
Yea but it was pretty obviously including me since i was the only one raising complaints in the thread before. That is what makes my posts seem aggressive, i respond directly.

Thank a deity for that! I thought it was just me, responding to attack and it felt like someone had hold of your head..![]()
