Crysis weird crackling Vista x86

hey guys when ever i start crysis i got the famous crackling and popping and it happens only on crysis other game like cod4 work fine no crackling or popping so my question is why it does it at crysis running on 2.5 Gigs of DDR-400 ram

any help would be appreciated

This only happens when your sound card is f****ed up.

Not necessarily dead but Crysis has some issues with it.

What quality is the sound at in the Crysis settings?

Lower that to Medium/High and it should stop.

Crysis kicks the ass' of sound cards. lol.

Check the settings in Windows and the software with the sound card. Then change in game.

Google should answer your problems .
