Crysis sing player demo

The beta's caused a ton of problems for me had to rollback 7times before they worked, didnt improve crysis performanc much either.

On anything but low settings for me its a slideshow, and on low settings it is at 30 -50fps most of the time.
 
medium, 1680x1050, 0aa i get 25fps. with the new ones its a LITTLE better but i cant play 64bit with the new ones. im at 163.69 right now
 
Seems to work reasonably on my system at 1280 * 1024 on medium mode.

I get the same kind of slowdown as I used to get in FEAR due to my awfully slow ram..
 
I've been running it at 1280x1024. On the desktop (specs below) with all settings on high, framerate was probably 10-20fps. On my laptop (2.0 Yonah / 2GB / 7900GS) with a few settings turned down to medium, I was getting at least in the 20's in most places, though it lags during firefights.

I'm actually impressed with the performance, considering how advanced the engine is.
 
Just finished that level the second time on normal :)

Actually pretty excited for the full game, looks like a winner.

Now playing it with all on high, slows down quite a bit sometimes with frags and all that going off.

And the cloak, what an ability!
 
mine ran pretty smooth/ playable enough at 1680x1050 all high no aa

very very pretty game

does it come with DX10 options under vista?

absolutely loving it cannot wait for the full game now :D

i'm curious as to what the ultra high audio setting will be like as high is better than anything else out atm anyway! stunning audiovisual experience:D can't wait for the volumetrics and suchlike though :D
 
u played all high no problems with your rig?

i was thinking of upgradeing a core 2 since my X2 is chugging along slowly, but since ur X2 plays it fine, i wonder..
 
need a good download manager to use with firefox in vista x64-bit firefox quits itself after an hour of downloading, it only had 30 seconds remaining..!!! i was so angry lol.. im gonna try again in the morning..
 
Just downloaded and played the SP demo and it's really nice. It seems to works better than the MP for me. Pretty smooth at 1680x1050, medium settings and no AA.

Loving it, buying it as soon as it is released!

Do a benchmark with the beta drivers and see what happens! :D

Played it. It just runs at 1680 x 1050 2 x AA but imma try again at a lower res. Looks lush and love the destroyable trees etc. AI is OK, nto amazing. I think the full game will be a little improved.

Think UT3 is more on my agenda though
 
Some people say that their 8800gts struggles and some say yeh we got 40fps on high settings no aa etc...

Someones making things up because the same card cant perform that differently.

This is what I am looking into now.. on the MP Beta my GTS ran it fine.

I didn't feel a single bit of lag. Never checked the FPS but it was smooth to my standards..my standards are high. ;)

So once I have got the Demo I shall know for sure. But I am pretty sure the GTS runs it fine.
 
I suppose it depends on resolution. My GTX ran it OK at 1680 x 1050 2 x AA but not really good enough

1368 x 768 it runs it fine with 2 x AA

Yeah, resolution is the main issue here.

People never state whar res they have the game at. (including me)

I was running at 1440x900. Ran like a dream.

Kemp, you must be able to run a little higher than that? :eh:
