Crysis HELP!

Can someone please help me! Crysis lags on my computer! I have a Intel Core 2 Duo running at 2.8 Ghz, a 8800GT overclocked to SSC speeds and Corsair XMS2 2GB ram at 667 Mhz. Crysis lags on high settings at 1440x900! But, i saw benchmarks where Crysis ran at like 40 fps in similar settings and PC! I'm using the Crysis Beta Drivers (169.12) and I updated my motherboard chipset (ASUS P5N-E SLI)! Can someone please help me!?

I guess your running Vista?

Have you got Crysis running in DX10? I recommend using DX9 instead.. Much better performance.
