Pardon me for saying so. But such small devices, such little capacity. I do hope these guyz have the best of luck with their upd8s. But this is all mickey mouse sheet if u ask me.

You need to use one mate, they may not have a lot of capacity but I can assure if you used one you would not go back to a mechanical drive. The difference is insane matey. Probably THE biggest impact 1 componant has had on the speed of PC ever tbh.

Yeah u probably right.
Only I can't justify the costing tbh.
I don't restart many of the pcs in here much, and they boot up pretty quickly as it is.
I do use 80g OS drives in the main for whatever OS I'm using. (raid or whatever storage for whatever the pc is for - network for everything else).
Sure they're quicker. Benefits vS cash outlay - nah, I'll take the zero on that one.

So an opinion based on the fact you havnt used one, it makes every loading factor of the pc faster dude. Id almost send you one just to read the OMG post after you had used it.

We use Eee(s) at the national assembly, most impressive thing with them are the touchscreens.
If any1 wants to send me one for free, ofc I'd use it. Weighing it up against the cost of it versus buying a top end Dell 24"+, GTX380, getting my eyes lazered, going to the states, a deposit on an apartment - I'd rather allocate my own cash elsewhere.
