Crucial Ballistix 3600Mhz Question

Hi all,
I have a pair of Crucial 16GB (8GBx2) Ballistix Elite 3600Mhz in my system.

Now then, some time ago I bought a second pair to bump up the capacity to 32GB. When I eventually got round to putting them in my system (many months later) the system was crashing randomly. After running a memtest, it confirmed that the second pair were faulty and I managed to send them back under warranty.

However, the Ballistix Elite line has been discontinued and I have been sent the new kit which is Ballistix ( looks like they have added RGB ).

Now, from what I can see the kit seems to be identical in specs as my Ballistix Elite kit that is currently installed, all that really seems to be different is the heat spreader.

My question is would this new kit be compatible working alongside my current kit or have I missed something in comparing the specs?

For info my system spec is as follows:-

Motherboard : Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 (BIOS Rev F34)
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Memory : Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB 3600Mhz
GFX : AMD Radeon Vega 56
PSU : Superflower 700W Platinum

If the timings are the same then i don't see an issue, but mixing kits isn't as bad as in years past as far as i'm aware, only one way to find out

Yeah that's what I was thinking, its just that I have always had identical kits if I have ever bought them separately and wasn't sure if I should be mixing these, even though they are from the same manufacturer and have the same specs etc.

Like you say, only one way to find out
