Crosshair IV: BIOS flash

So after reading up more on how to overclock the max out of my chips it's come to my attention there is an update available for my 1100 or whatever it was bios. It claims to offer greater system stability - which you'd expect.

My question is am I okay to just flash the bios with my current stable overclocks on or should I go back to stocks? Once updated can I just type in all the old fields exactly as they were before with the same values or will I need to start from scratch?

If you want to upgrade bios badly,store bios settings in a profile,and for safety write down all settings.

Bios is going to look different if you havent upgraded before,and some settings will appear in other sections of bios.

When you upgrade,all settings will be default.

You can use all old settings,but if it was me,i would start from scratch

Mmm... don't think i'll bother with it then. I'll see if overvolting my VDDA gets 4ghz stable
