hey guys just have a question when I run crossfire with 2 x r9 280x vapor x's I am getting an issue as follows the AMD driver has faild but recovered so what I have done is taken the second card out and testes them one by one and cannot seem to get it to fault the issue was happening when I had a game open and was running you tube in the background it would fail but now with one card at a time it seems to be no issues at all with either card any suggestions ?

We'll need a bit more info.

What driver are you running and what are your full specifications for starters?

ok I have an asus z97-a mobo I have a corsair ax860i psu i5 4690 chip was running 14.9 catalyst 16gig ram

yes iv done both i just took other card out and it runs fine i go put it back into crossfire and the amd error again sighh...

I didn't see this clarified but did you ever test both cards? That is test 1 by itself, if pass, then test the other by itself?

Also make sure Xfire is enabled in CCC.

You were not running one of the 14.9 beta drivers are you? There are a ton of people having problems with crossfire and the beta.

Also, how did you remove the previous driver, or did you install over top of it without removing?

You need to update your CCC suite for 14.9/14.9.2 to work. Otherwise you're getting half the driver installed since the suite contains many of the other things your drivers need.
