Hi,

What CPU paste is everyone using these days for best results?

Still the Arctic Silver 5 ? with a blob in the middle of the 2600k?

No,but its easier to work with and is non-conductive.The Diamond stuff needs to be heated before applying it.

diamond is the best 'paste', but is used for final setting

the chip and cooler can be very hard to prise apart once applied

i do not recommend diamond, if you intend re-setting different heatsinks on a regular basis

but, if you doing the paste ONCE, use the best

noctua stuff ive also got some artic silver 6 or something like that but i read a good article that stated thhe noctua paste had better temps ( plus the nhd 14 came with tonnes of the stuff)
