Hey guys, here's a little backstory:
Today my CPU Fan died and I didn't notice it, so I went on playing some Borderlands 2 and suddenly I hear a sizzling sound and my PC went dark. After some tinkering I figured out that the CPU Fan died and took the CPU with it, so now here's the deal: As you can see in my Signature I want to buy a new PC with good components, but I don't yet have enough money for all the parts, so I will have to purchase a new Mobo+CPU+CPU-Cooler much earlier than anticipated. I should have enough for that, but the original plan was to do a custom liquid cooling loop for the PC, but I can't afford all the components for Liquid cooling.
So now my question is, whats the best and cheapest fan I can throw on a 4770k that I can still game with (doesn't necessarily have to be rendering), that will sufficiently cool my new CPU until I can afford my liquid cooling?
Thanks guys!
Edit: Boxed cooler is out of the question, several friends of mine were unable to run a 4770k with a boxed cooler without heat throttleing the CPU
