CPU cooling help!!

Looks like a nice little board there mate :)

At the end of the day though, a big block of metal is a big block of metal. You only really need to start being picky if you want a big overclock and/or really low temp.

Just make sure the cooler will fit your socket, eg. 775 in your case, and then base your decision on aesthetics and price :)

If you still want people to suggest coolers, then you should mention how much room you have in your rig for one. Being that the board is TINY! do we assume it's in a tiny case?

Chris.

depending on the case you could do it but i use the h100i and that does me good. thats a sealed unit and depending on the Over Clock you could do liquid cooled or a decent heatsink and fans its everyones opinion

You could get a simple XSPC watercooling kit for like £110 you'd get better temps and a tad bigger overclock. Also gotta bare in mind that there is more maintenance required with a wc setup unlike a air cooler. also as said above, wouldn't be worth it for a pentium

Here is my case its a galaxy bubble here is a link to all the specs http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/cases/cases/galaxy3.html

and the only thing is it does not come with that PSU but that doesnt matter as much, here is some photos of my system and yess i know its nothing special but iv only really got into gaming pc and the big boy stuff about 6 months ago.

Here is an inside view to show the room (it's a mid tower case)

Here is a picture of the top of the case to show the room for maybe a small rad?

Hope this gives you an idea of the space i have :)

watercooling might be tricky in there as space is a premium in there, personally id go for a decent heat sink and fans, but in the case mods area someone has sorted his out have a rummage through there see what ya find out. and i could not find any internal width dimentions just external

thanks Dalewakelin for the that lol and all i can see for - Dimensions :410(H) X200(W) X 480(D) mm that all i know lol , i think im best just putting a good heatsink in there

I got a xigmatek dark knight the other day and wow is that a good cooler. It is one of the nicest looking coolers out there but you are paying an extra £20 for black paint at the end of the day. Arctic cooling are good for budget coolers.

all those cooler are nice and good not sure about the first one tho it kinda looks like a AMD stock cooler lol but the bigger ones look awesome compared to the stock one i have lol and id imagine they will have far better performance too , the only thing that stopping me now is 1) getting a new cool :/ and 2) overclocking which im not sure on how to do , i did put a thread up asking how but no one replied :(

sort out cooling first then think about over clocking.
otherwise you will have to learn twice.

yes i think i will sort cooling out first thanks you for everything and can i ask how does everyone put the pc specs on the bottom of their reply's ?

No problem. I just wanted to show you what was available at varying price points.
Really is your call though. Just buy what you like the look of that fits in whatever budget you have. :)
