CPU Cooler

Hey Guys,

Just looking at getting a CPU cooler for the summer. Currently just got myself a 2600K with stock fan, and getting about 70c (usually slightly under) at about 4.3ghz (will be OCing it to 4.5 when I get round to it).

I have a Lian Li A71b with an Asus P8P67 Pro R3 P67. But the biggest problem I have, is 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance RAM which makes my choice of coolers somewhat limited.

Any recommendations? I have 3x top fans (noctua), 1x rear fan (noctua), and 4x HDD (generic Lian Li) cage fans already so airflow in the case is of little concern.

Pretty sure the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro or the Thermalabs Infinity would be perfect for you dude. (Infinity will 100% not effect the ram choice)

Thermalright Archon, although I'm not 100% sure if it can fit in your case. The heatsink is 171mm tall, but I'm fairly sure you can fit it.

Just did a prime95 yesterday at 4.3ghz.......and it reached 95-96c.....lol :S

Yea, with realistic usage (not torture testing with prime), it will only really go up to about 70c or so when overclocked.

It only gets to those very high temps with prime.
