CPU 1090T voltage

Hi,

My 1090T is set to 16.5 multi and 243 FSB but CPU-Z says 16.5 and 244 after i tried over clocking more but it crashed so i went back to original over clock.

The Voltage is set to 1.465 in bios and on my ASUS ai tweaker page it says that but on the HW monitoring page it says it is at 1.5v and CPU-Z says past that even.

i dunno what to believe on anything and from the validation in my sig i set everything back to that and i get different numbers.

forget those readings - whatever it is in BIOS, it is, no matter what anything else says

your EVO doesnt like the NB/FSB at very high clocks.... lower them and just do the muliplier

the AI-tweaker is rubbish. don't use it

i think the BEST STABLE OC you will get on the EVO is ~4.3GHz with the 1090T

remember: your NB will also need extra volts, and also what your RAM

im using ai tweaker in the bios not the software the ram is set to its defaults that the sticker has on it and the NB is all set to auto i had a nice OC in my sig before and never had this problem.

what shall i set the NB as and should i disable LLC?

why is the multi dropping to 8 it never did this before i wish i had not tried to OC more its getting worse instead of better.

disable the LLC, as you will want your OC to stay OC'd whatever happens

bump your NB volts up one at a time, until it doesnt post - two or three times should be ample

managed to get my original OC back to normal but LLC has to be enableded like it had to be last time i OC but it still drops the multi down to 8 when temps start to go past 56 on cores and then when it drops back down to 47 it goes back up to 16.5 is this cause the cpu is over heating? if so is it ok to leave at this OC if it stops it self from over heating.

i want to upgrade to a custom water cooling soon.

no wonder my temps have shot up my cpu core goes to 1.55v even though i set it to manual and 1.48 in bios. WTF is going on i set things and everything changes anyway i nearly give up with OC i think ill stay at stock as this is stupids how can i trust an over clocking if it changes on its own anyway.

volts in CPU-Z and other apps hardly ever read correctly

it is what it is in BIOS... do not read what certain app's report them as to be true - THEY LIE

there reason why your are dropping all the time maybe because you have not disabled turbo-core mode

cool and quiet is disabled and so is turbo core i think it was cause the cpu was overheating as when it reached over 60 is dropped the multi but when the temp went back down it put it back up i have the multi set to 19 now and FSB 200 and it never drops the multi now and temps never go past 49, think i need a better case with airflow and water cooling.
