Corsair SP2500 = WOW

OK so my new speakers came today (Corsair SP2500) and I couldn't wait to set them up, and listen to the quality, once set up I opened DIFM, and WOW and I mean WOW, you can really hear the quality and also things you have never heard in track before, you really notice the difference straight away. Games also sound awesome, COD Black Ops you can hear peeps footsteps (seriously)....

The Guy that Tom mentioned in his video review on these, has done a great job.

I had the Z5500's before and I thought they were good, but these are amazing, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for new speakers to get these.

The sub is a better fit also under my desk, was like it was made for it (although I really need to sort the cables out) LMAO

I was listening to these at my local electronics store and they are amazing, especially from a company not known for amazing audio products.

My only gripe about them is the Sub does not offer the punch i am looking for. To bassy for me.

Nice card. Love to know what the difference is (if any) when/if Tom switches to the Essence.

Edit: Crap, sorry, just noticed you actually got a break down of your rigs at the bottom of your posts. Thinking without looking there sorry.

Yeah, got a sound blaster atm but its debatable at times if that's really a good sound card. If (hopefully when) I get these then I'd really want to go the whole 9 yards and get the Essence too to get the most out them both. Really like your setup. Very envious.
 
Surprised you can hear a difference between these and your old z5500's, that's quite impressive! I've found the logitech sets do much better on movies/music than gaming. I need to look into these speakers, I'm using a crappy Sony 2.1 setup (very crappy).
 
hmmm I might take out my z2300s for these mmmmm...tempted so ill have z5500s and these too. are they really good to justify the price? I know everyones liking these which is just influencing me more.

am tempted to buy them just the price of them puts me off a little and the fact that I only use the Soundcard that comes with my mobo. Will probs wait till I see them on offer if they ever are lol

Easy to hear a difference. They are in a different league from the Z5500's.
