You should say the "the best computer speakers YOU have ever used." Otherwise they are nice speakers, I own a set myself.

I wouldnt really expect a 'gaming,' branded set of speakers would outperform a set of regular speakers.

I believe these were made by BOSE, with a corsair label.

I find that extremely hard to believe; though it may be the reason for the silly over-enthusiastic price, considering what you can actually buy for similar money. You won't see me buying anything branded 'gaming,' be it a headset, speakers, mouse, keyboard etc. They add pretty-ness and add un-needed tat then inflate the price and win you over with advertisement. Just my opinion.

i watched Toms review and he had nothing but praise for them to the point where he said he has got rid of his old speakers in favour of the sp2500. Good enough to Tom, definitely good enough for me ;-)

Thats wrong, I spoke to the guy that corsair hired just to make these perfect, he has an audiophile engineer/designer back ground thats why they are so good

Can say where they were made though but I doubt its bose as everyone uses 3rd parties for manufacturing.

Bang and olafsson or Bose. Don't buy non specialists of sound. I'm a professional musician who performs all over the world. I also write music for professional musical organisations and there are a lot of things to listen for when it comes to sound. I bought the SP2500 speakers out of pure curiosity to compare with my Bose companion 5 speakers and I understand why non specialists would think they are as good as they are hyped up to be. If your well off then I would get Bang and olafsson or Slightly less expensive are the Bose but very rich in quality. To get a full perspective of what good speakers sound like you should objectively listen to classical music and games with good amounts of ambient sound. Both are examples of depth of sound. I'm no computer specialist lol infact I'm so new to the whole building computers I'm still sort of on the embryonic stage of my learning but when it comes to sound, trust in what I'm saying lol

I coupled my Soundblaster Titanium Fatality Professional with the Corsair SP2500 and I'm getting extremely rich sound from both music and games with slight tweaking. TTL's review along with Linus' pushed me to buy these speakers and I couldn't be happpier with my decision. TBH these speakers utterly destroy any Logitech, Creative, or Bose 2.1 system I've heard within the same price range.

Yeah they are good at their price point even if they are a tad bit expensive.

I find them amazing, I'm not going to shell out for BOSE or B&O as a student tbh.

'Bang og Olufsen' sucks.... Just as overpriceda as Bose.

Bang an olufsen make the best speakers, the sound quality is mind blowing, my uncle has them rigged in the ceilings through his house and the effect is stunning.

I had a pair of bose companion 5 and although they did sound good i never felt they sounded "300 quid good" (think i may have paid more). I have SP2500s with an Asus d2X now which is probably a 250 quid setup (defo sub £300) and they knock my companion 5s out the park. Im sure there is Bang Ofulsen kit out there that will knock spots off the sp2500 but you gotta part with you 1st born child to afford it. But for us mere mortals it comes down to "sound for your pound"
