Corsair memory stick like fan

Would be nice if Corsair makes memory sticks like SP or AF fans so to change colors as we like. What do you think?

I think he means that all colours come with one kit and you can change them. Like the rings on the fans. I'd like the idea, but I honestly don't think anyone is ever going to do that.

And even if they do, most RAM is pretty much the same with different heatspreaders, which you can get in most colours so yeah...

i do like that idea, it would fit in well with their product lineup.

but they already sell their ram in different colours, so we jut buy the type we want.

it would be nice though if someone decided to change his or her colour scheme

I would love it when manufacturers sold their RAM with white heatspreaders that aren't attached yet. Just naked RAM and the heatspreader seperate. You can then easily spraypaint it into any colour you like and put it on the RAM

novel idea, but the idea of end-user modifications and product failure from
improper modifications (like spray painting heat sinks) lends to some problems.
just attaching the spreaders with a TIM pads will easily confuse a large amount
of "first-time enthusiasts", 8-coats of a base coat/cleat coat paint and ask
for a RMA due to insufficient cooling, causing the RAM chips to de-solder themselves.
i do like the light-bar idea and with the new vengeance pro modules, selling
clip upgrades or blank spreader clips to "accent" with would be good.
