Corsair K60 - TTL Edition

I beleive that RGB leds are just too expensive, so even if crosair goes foward with this they problably wont add RGB leds because of the price.

Now, if I was to buy a keyboard now and there was something like a K60 with FULL, I mean every single key, F keys, Del, esc, etc etc Mechanical switches with backlight and the K90 wrist rest I would buy. Would be awesome. The durabilty of a Crosair keyboard in a smaller form factor.

I own a K90 btw, in case you didnt notice in the signature.

Keep the K90's wristrest minus the macro keys and definite consideration. Change the switches to either MX Brown or MX Black and it's a no brainer for me.

Browns and blacks are completely different types of keys.

I have the K90 now and the lighted keys are great. (I won it in a contest) As others have said, I don't use the macros, but the keyboard is awesome to use. This is my first Mechanical-Keys keyboard and now I'm ruined.

As for the question posed, yes, absolutely, I would buy a lighted K60 keyboard if it was for sale. I would probably get three of them in time.

Browns and blacks are completely different types of keys.

I know. Browns are tactile and blacks are linear. For some reason, I like both but I don't like Reds...

EDIT: Probably worth mentioning I've used/owned a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth (MX Brown), DasKeyboard Professional (MX Blue), and Mionix Zybal 60 (MX Black). Tried reds and it felt too similar to membrane for me. Maybe I'd grow accustomed to it with more time.

@Corsair: Make it fully mechanical and I don't care what switch you use, I'd get it because it looks awesome.

I meant MX Red switches felt similar to a membrane keyboard to me. The Corsair keyboards use MX Red switches.

I agree with that actually. I love the feel of the reds in gaming - but don't particularly like typing on them.

I think I'll probably get blue next - just from trying a Razer Blackwidow in PC world

Red swithces are disgusting, so are blacks, there is nothing to them that distinguishes them between cheap rubber domes. Blues are without doubt my favourite switch, loud, clicky and tactile, just like a mech keyboard should be!

Lol reds are nothing like rubber domes.

I much prefer reds over blues

They have a longer travel, but the lack of resistance makes them feel cheap, IMO.

The fact they are not spongy is the main thing for me. Also I've pretty much mastered being able to type at just at the activation point which has increased my WPM significantly.

Blues are great for typing, the best I would say, although I haven't tried browns. But for gaming they feel 'gritty'. So overall I much prefer reds.

Browns are a great middle ground. They still have the tactile feel that makes Blues great for typing but they also feel semi linear in that there isn't a very obvious actuation point like the blues have. Personally using a keyboard with browns right now and it's by far my favorite one.
