Corsair Graphite 600T Special Edition - Build

System specs:

PSU: Corsair AX850.

Motherboard: I wanted to buy a ECS P67H2-A Black Extreme, but that is really hard to get in the Netherlands, so for now I went with the GigaByte P67A-UD5-B3, which looks awesome too!

CPU: 2500k @ 4.2GHz for now.

CPU-cooler: Corsair H70 with 2x Scythe GT 1450RPM for now. Probably buying a Corsair H100 when it will be released.

Memory: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Kit. (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9).



Graphics Card: Asus EAH6970/2GB VT in, replaced stock-cooler with the Arctic Accelero XTREME Plus.



Hard disks: Vertex 2 60GB + Samsung F3 1TB, and as soon as I can get my hangs on a Corsair Force 3 60GB, I will put that in.

Thats it for now. I am gonna replace some stuff (2x 120mm in top and trying to get 2x 120/140mm in front, since I dont like the noise the 200mm makes).

i really wish i could justify me buying the 600t at full retail price as i would have one. abit bummed about not picking one up yesterday! great looking cases.

I really like that white Corsair 600T... In my top few cases at the minute. (I'm planning on getting another case at the end of the month to replace my current black R3).

My current shortlist is:

1. Fractal Design R3 White Edition

2. Corsair 600T White

3. Silverstone RV-02 White

4. Fractal Design Arc

Although I still haven't decided what I'm going to get yet.

What's your thoughts on the 600T m8 ?

would have bought this if it fit a decent size rad, for me its going to be a 650D though, nice build but why did you go for the H70/50/60 what ever it is, D14 is much better

D14 is better, BUT, bigger.

My father has the R3 White (built it for him), it looks nice but building a clean rig in costs a lot of time (not a real lot of space), the 600t build took less time and looks cleaner lol.

I reviewed the 600T in Dutch, my thoughts:

Good:

+ Looks

+ Cablemanagement

+ Build Quality

+ Spacious

+ Easy to install (hardware eg.)

+ Cooling & Temperatures

+ 200mm @ Low Speed = Silence

Bad:

- Price

- Missing LED on/off switch

- Noise of 200mm @ Full Speed

I dont think you would be able to fit it in the case, I know its 240mm, but to me it looks like it will still be too big for 600T. I have to admit that the case and your rig look awesome, but wish there was 610T, with the same design but with 5cm extra space.

Did you notice the noise levels dropping once you replaced the stock fans on H70?

Would be really dumb if it doesnt fit lol. I think it will fit, we will see.

And the stock fans of H70 are rubbish, at low speed they are silent but dont move air, at high they are too loud. Can't hear the GT 1450rpms at all.

(which still surprises me

).
