Corsair Gaming K70 RGB Cherry Switch Keyboard Review

Either of these has the potential to outperform the Corsair and has far better looks and ergonomics.

Erm I think that's rather a subjective one dude they both look sherman to me.

Ducky and Filco are the only serious contenders to win Corsair customers.

And the Logitech uses all new state of the art Romer G switches (an industry exclusive and which were developed in conjunction with Onrom (the company behind everyone’s favorite arcade stick switches) that are 25% faster than the older Cherry MX's and last an astounding 70 million KS. This will be the new leader with the worlds fastest mechanical switches.
The Logitech will be out in November so I'd not buy a corsair just yet. :)

And btw the Duckys and filcos both use the old tech, this is a brand new wave of tech, ride it or be run over :)

Again thats your opinion, I think they look pretty darn ugly...
Compared to finding the logo ugly i cant fault the corsair RGB KB's

Old tech works, sometimes NEW is not always better, i wonder how many returns they will be getting till it has had its trial by fire in the real world. With the Cherries yes they are "old" but they work well, pretty durable, and tbh how fast can you mash a key to need "25%" more speed ...

Personally i come and am from membrame keys, so these high up key will be something to get used to.
The colors and stuff look nice but there is one thing worrying me:

The obvious red, yellow and green bleeding from the LED's to make a specific color.
In the case above, alle the LED's are on to create white (which i want) but you can clearly see the different colors reflecting on the keys above it.

Is that just in the video or also to be seen with the naked eye?

Yeah these have terrible light leaks due to the fact that they mounted the lights under the switch and used a piece of plastic to get the light to the keytop, plus the keys are not deep enough to house the system properly to stop the light leak.
The keys on the Logitech are made properly with the led in the switch the way the single color led switches were made to evenly light the key and don't have the leak of the corsair. The logitech also use a faster switch than the old cherrys. More durable too.

A couple of perhaps better alternatives for this might be Logitechs' Orion Spark

It is available now for pre -order. It has a dock for an android device and an app that goes with it to add a new dimension in gaming that goes well beyond the Corsair board. The keys are also much more evenly lit without the harsh hotspot glow the corsair demonstrates.

Another option is the Tesoro Lobera Supreme and is available now.

Either of these has the potential to outperform the Corsair and has far better looks and ergonomics.

Top of the line novelty gaming tat! New tech != better tech.
I'll hold my opinion of these new switches until they are out in the wild.

Meh still looking on further then for my Tt challenger ultimate replacement then:

I noticed the LED's have become less bright since i got it last year and the whole row of "F" keys have started showing a differen color as well now.

It's a membrane keyboard as well what i really like, but i want something up quality wise, and the new Logitech one mentioned above doen's look like that really.
Looks like a old design with slapped on parts imo :/
