Corsair Complaint... What would you do?

When the Dominators launched in Nov(?) 06 I bought some.

They cost about £300 and were DOA - they never ran at 1066 5-5-5-15 @2.2v.

I didn't realise for a while (thought it was m cpu/mobo) but they have a lifetime warranty so off they went.

I got them back recently - exact same issue in a diff rig.

These sticks now retail for ~£115.

That is practically 1/3 of what I paid yet I never have had any use from them.

I think it is ludicrous, they have lost most of their value and I have to RMA them AGAIN, for the same thing to happen???

I want a refund or a ddr3 exchange tbh.

I feel a carefully constructed strongly worded letter might have the desired impact.

What say ye? Give up? Go for it?

Corsair can kiss my a$$ for future business unless they sort this out

I'd ask for a refund mate. Considering what you've been through I don't think they can refuse. If they do, say you'll kick up a right big stink. A refund should be at the purchase price too afaik.

Corsair's Yellowbeard can be found on many enthusiast forums & he seems a decent type - I would PM him & see what he can do/suggest.
