Hi. I am thinking on getting the AX760i, (and that is the ONLY one in the "i" series i can get) but i allready have an AX1200. I am thinking on going sli with 780's.

My question. Is it worth for me getting the AX760i with the software and platinium rating, over the gold certified AX1200, and can the AX760i even run SLI?

I don't really see the point in what you're asking?

Bear in mind, GPUs are most efficient at around 50% load. So you having an AX1200w working at around 50% load maxed out will be near enough the same efficiency as the platinum rated AX760i working at near enough 100%.

We can't really say if SLI 780s will run, as they haven't really been announced or released yet.

But still...I don't really see any point whatsoever in 'upgrading'

Ohhh. Ok. I might just get the 760i properly free. So i would have to sell either the 1200 or 760. but that would be the 760 then :)

Welcome to the forums. I think if it were me I would sell the 760i as its brand new. Correct? as apposed to selling a second hand AX1200....
