corsair AX1200/1200i 24-pin

hi guys a got a corsair gen 2 24-pin in black from ebay for very cheap, the ad didn't say if it was for AX760/AX860 or AX760i/860i or AX1200/AX1200i, turns out it's for AX1200/AX1200i.
but i have a AX760 so can i use it?

The 24 Pin will not.

Corsair PSU Compatibility:

AXI Platinum Series – 1200/860/760
AX Platinum Series – 860/760

The 24 Pin cables have to be purchased seperately and the AXi 24 Pin won't work the regular AX models. TTL has told me theres some other differences with the rest of the cables too, basically the old gold series AX cables are not transferable to the new platinum series AX's

Just to be clear:
The regular AX1200 is from an older series. It's 80+ Gold rated and not part of the AX Platinum series above. The second gen cable kit does not fit on the older AX 'Gold' series at all.
