Are you happy with the alignment of the fans in your mod but not the finish on the cut?

Presuming you made it out of an aluminium sheet:
- Borrow the round ring from one of your corsair fans as a template.
- Draw around its inside edge on top of your existing fan holes (make sure it's centred first)
- Grab yourself a half round file, and work at it until you've widened the circle cut to match the outline you just drew.
- Once done, grab a can of Plasti Dip and spray the mount black

Boom. Custom mount looking good.

So would you buy from one of those Radiator Grill or just work on cleaning the mod up more?

Thanks for you advice

Honestly, it depends how much effort you want to put into it.

Personally I'd get more satisfaction from doing it myself, but it will take more time and if you want the perfect machined look, by all means pick up a radiator grill. Though if you're not sure if it'll fit, you might have to mod that a bit anyway!

Won't this be hidden behind the front panel of the case anyway? So once the metal is painted black you won't actually see small imperfections if you've fixed it up yourself?

Yeah true i think i will just spend the time fixing this one up and like you said its going to be hidden anyway i was also thinking about putting some fan grills on the front fans with the screw as you can tell there normal screws not like computer ones do you think i should keep with those screws or try and change to like computer type screws.

Thanks again for the advice

Hey guys

I have watched Tom's 6 Hour BitFenix Shinobi Mod Challenge & Orca videos, i was wondering what is that rubber insert stuff called where tom was putting around the metal after he finished cutting it. i can't remember the name of the stuff cause i want to use it in my 650D case.

Thanks all :)
