I purchased a Corsair 600T SE back in December which as a whole has been a great case so far. Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago I noticed the fan controller was no longer responding and as a result the fans were stuck at one speed.
A little bit of research suggested this was a fairly common problem with this case so I contacted Corsair Tech Support for assistance. Let's just say my Corsair experience so far has been pretty shocking to be honest with all sorts of mixed messages when they actually bothered to reply.
I'm now in the position where all the emails I've received suggest, via way of part number/sku, that a black 600T has been sent to me but one of the Corsair admins on their forum said that an actual fan controller/PCB has been sent to me instead. This contradicts with another Corsair employee who stated "the fan controller is not a user replaceable part" but as whatever they've sent to me hasn't arrived I'm still somewhat confused.
Can anyone confirm or deny whether it's possible to replace the fan controller on a 600T? If so is it an easy process?
