Corsair 400r Front Fans

Hello all,

I am the proud owner of a Corsair 400r, I love it but I want to have blue fans in the front ( I want coolermaster sickle flow leds) but the 400r has a control for the on/off of the front fan led's and not the fans them selves , My question is can I swap out the fans to blue ones and have the control to turn the leds off like I can now? - or will the switch act like a on off switch for the whole fan ?

Also I want a decent CPU cooler in the range of about £50-60? Any suggestions??

I wouldn't go with Sickleflows tbh - they aren't the best.

Look at Silverstone Air Penetrators if you don't mind paying a bit more. Or the Enermax ranges are pretty decent too.

As for the cooler - NH-D14 all the way.

I just had a look on amazon and the Silverstone fans do not say what color led they have ? Its more for looks than anything else, do you know any decent fans with led's - on amazon antec do some ... ?

Yeah - the silverstones and enermax fans.
Silverstone do make LED versions:

The amazon picture doesn't really show them off well, but they look great in real life.

If it is for looks - not much beats the Enermax Apolish Vegas though:

Totally forgot about them! Sorry!
Considering I even have one in my system it's an odd thing to forget.

I don't find the LEDs particularly bright in them however, so they're possibly not the best choice if the main reason for getting them is for aesthetics.
