Corsair 1500 vs Logitech g930

OK, I have finally settled on my audio choice, I will be getting one of two three headsets. There price is not the biggest factor as I just need to know which of these two are the better performer. I am kinda leaning towards the 1500s because of there 50mm drivers but, I am still unsure as I constantly hear great things about the g930.

I will also except any recommendation's for other headsets, but only if you have evidence backing up your claim of there superiority to these two headsets. Also please note that if you recommend another headset make sure it is a full USB connected headset, I am on a Gaming Laptop and I do not exactly have a 7.1 sound card in it

I have the G930, and must i say it is a brilliant headset. Terrific bass and the 7.1 surround works perfectly. The G930 connects via USB, therefore a sound card is not needed. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it, although i havent used the 1500.

Cheers

Thanks mate, finally someone gives me a response on this! I am deffo considering the g930's, they seem absolutely brilliant.

I'm looking to buy a headset for BF3 and I was thinking of getting a G930 as well.

I am really looking at it at the moment as well, it is just the fact that the 1500 has 50mm drivers and seems like it would be a bit superior in sound quality, I mean we all know what the SP2500's where capable of so it really makes it a difficult choice.

I'm not aware of most of the audio related terminology and I'm not an audiophile so I don't really care about slight differences in sound quality. If the head phones get good reviews, are comfortable and have good sound quality (for me) than I would be more than satisfied.
