core i7 Stock cooler

I have a question about the Stock cooler of my core i7 processor.

does the cooler also fits in other sockets?

Because the cooler of my pentium 4(probaly 478) computer is broken, so if i can put my core i7 cooler on the pentium 4 then i can buy a new cooler for my i7.

Core i7 uses push pins, 478 doesn't.

It could fit 775 as it's the same design, but it doesn't as the socket is larger and the holes are spaces further apart.

That is a socket 775 motherboard, in which case you can get a stock cooler off ebay or any aftermarket cooler from an online store such as www.scan.co.uk or www.ebuyer.com
