So I have a Core i7 2700k and Core i5 3570k to test and get the best stable OC stable out of them. I have an ASRock Z75 Pro3 motherboard. With the Core i7 2700k I was having issues hitting 4.0Ghz and running Prime before the CPU would throttle down to 3.5Ghz. I turned off the Thermal Throttling on this board and it still did it. I don't really get the whole offset and where to set the actual voltage with this motherboard. Can anyone help??

try raising the LLC so that vcore doesn't drop
thermal throttling is enabled when temps exceed high levels. what temps do u see?

I have no got it stable at 4.8Ghz after mucking around all night with settings. I am using a Corsair H40 water cooler with push pull. The temps get up to 81 on core 1 and 82 on core 2 and 79 on core 0 and core 3. Also the voltage goes around 1.32 and 1.35. The only things I have changed were *Additional Turbo Voltage* and have it set to 0.160 and have the CPU offset to 0.030+. It is stable now, but since I no longer have the detailed manual for this board, im not sure exactly which setting would be Vcore since it's no said in the UEFI BIOS. The motherboard is ASRock Z75 Pro 3.

If you're using offset mode, the option doesnt show for vcore. You have to adjust with LLC and offset to attain the correct voltage.

If you change it from offset to manual, the vcore voltage setting will appear
