Heya guys.

Quick question.

What Temps should I expect from a E6400 under my water loop?

Roughly.

I have seen E4300 under air be as cool as 26oC.

I am planning my overclocking approach. :p

Thanks! :D

@ stock speed obviously!!! My higher clocked e6600 @ stock under water used to sit at around 36-38 deg C (depending on ambient), and overclocked to 3.3 it sits at around 41-43 deg (average ambient here atm is around 30 deg C...almost winter brrr). My GTS adds a little heat dump to the loop too.

Woah, a stock of 36oC!

Well, I guess you live ina hot part of the world..

30oC winter? Thats the UKs summer.. :(

Thanks for the Reply PV! ;)

Australia is very hot.

:P

Im sitting here looking at PC probe:

E4300 @ 3.3gh, 1.50v (vdrooped from 1.52) 50% load on F@H and its 40degC. Core temp is telling me 44 on each core and speendfan also 40.

According to my k-type room temp is 22, and the water block temp is 36.

Bare in mind i have low flow fans on my rad.

What sort of temps do you have atm on the e6400

mine is 36°C idle 45°C load. (on air - AC Freezer 7 Pro)

VCore is 1.4 in BIOS (1.375 in CPU-Z) and the CPU is clocked to 3.2Ghz

Tho i guess it cant touch India's summers.. Summers have already started here n the temp is 40C+ already, its worst in May, Last year it was a record breaking 49C+ in my City, n yes my city is not or near a desert..

I think it will touch 50C this year..

Its was soo hot last time, that all the small rubber tihngs in my room melted :( :(, like the Grip on my bat n etc

:p :p

Yeah ok you win. We average 38-40 in the summer, but 42-43 isn't unusual :D

You really need to be sure that you use the same version of coretemp when comparing temps, the latest version 0.95 changes temps a lot with some cores (- Fix: C2D L2 rev. report very low temperatures.)
Yep exactly, I'm using the latest version of core temp...vers 0.95 :)

Just to imform you all, I am getting 14oC idle and 27oC when load..

This is all on stock.. :)

Good temps if you ask me!

Room temp is norm around 20ºC

Is that with water or the stock intel cooler? sounds too cool to me :)

What are you using to take the readings?

That sounds wrong to me. What you taking those readings with? And whats ambient? (according to a thermometer, nt in the PC).
