Coolermaster trooper fan controller stopped

As the title says, the controller native to the CM Trooper just stopped working. I was playing black light retribution and my computer crashed because my CPU got to hot. I checked my fans and all the fans connected to the controller just stopped working. The lights on the controller are still on but nothing connected to the controller works and adjusting fan speeds no longer works. I have rebooted and have done a full shut down.

Now the lights on the controller stopped. I think the fan controller is fried. does anyone know where I can get another?

If it's still under warranty, it may be worth sending an email to CM explaining the situation, and see if they can send you on from their 'Spare Parts' boxes.

I am in contact with CM now. Even if it is still under warrenty I am not going to waste my time with RMA. But I am checking to see if I can get another part.

I am using all 4. 2 intakes and 2 for the H100 and all the headers stopped. I removed the PCB and everything is connected and no burns or anything. And like I said before now the lights no longer work. I checked the molex and it too is connected. It is very wierd. worked fine before playing BL and while playing stopped working causing CPU over heat.

CM sells the panel for $10. plus shipping (their shipping isn't outragous). this is a common issue
on other outlets on the interwebs. usually the lighting gives way and then the fan controller
(i hate fan controllers, strickly a PSU power guy). for now i'd molex all the fans so you are not
down. and let CM replace the assembly.

Fixed it.

On the fan controller you have 3 fan controller outlets one of which is split for 2, so 4 fans. Then you have 3 LED switches for the fans that use that function. All I did was remove the LED wires and the controller started working again.

i usually use the LIVE chat.. and get RMA by email in ten minutes.. we've fixed my CM690
NVidia edition front and top panels from my desk squishing the dog snott outta my case.
no charge ma'am... really stand up customer service at least for myself.
