Hello thar i recently built a computer a couple of days ago i hooked up everything and stuff. when i went to turn on the power the led fans for my case and the rear fan, processor, and graphics card all were spinning but there was no display it goes into stanby. I tried with just 1 stick of ram and everything and idk wats wrong i think its the mobo im not for sure everything is hooked up so if any1 can help me with this problem i would greatly appreciate it thanx.

Check cables again specially those 2 that goes directly to mobo

second thing is on start put onboard only necessery devices , (if you have 4 hdd, 2x cd rom 2 GPU just stick to minimum to run it), it can be a reason that your devices use more power than psu can provide. did you had strange noise when you turned pc on?

Can you add details of your computer please.

Well thats all the stuff i ordered i got them from newegg.com

sh1t i`m sleeping , i didnt see this line that your display is not working;], what kid of monitor you use , maybe this dvi output is the reason? did you connect it to a proper one?

Also check that you have connected any additional power cables fhat your graphics card may need, if you have an old graphics card (or on board graphics) try using that.

Check your CPU is seated well, that it's heatsink is firmly secured to it, and that you connected the additional CPU power connector to the motherboard if there is one.

i had a similiar problem some time ago, monitor had vga and dvi ports but when i have used dvi there was no wideo display, monitor went straight to stand by , i tryed VGA port and it works.

ok i finally got to see my display i look at my mobo and saw my atx 12v connector and on my power supply i saw two cords that were labled cpu 1 and cpu2 and plug them in there and i finally got to get into the bios but when i plug those up all my stuff wasnt spinning as fast as it was b4 is that suppose to happen cus idk if it is i just thought that was weird so if any1 can help me out with this thanx

It is probably fine, the BIOS is probably now controlling the fan speeds, mine reduces speeds to make the PC quieter.

Correct, the bios will most probably be controlling the fans. You usually get a full power blast at start up until the bios kicks in and then they will all slow down. :)
