Component location

Will be putting a water loop in a lian-li PC70 in the very near future and have a few issues with component locations.

looking at the case the obvious location for the HE 120.3 Rad I have is internally mounted to the top panel. My imediate concerns with this is that if i have the rad as the highest component in the loop then when the system shuts down this is where any air that is in the loop will end up. this will cause lots of gurgleing at the next start up and may even end up with air pockets trapped in the rad, ATM I cant see a way to get the resevoir above the rad which i seee as the ideal as the air ending up in the res would be ok.

Please advise!!

once you bleed the air out mate you will have no problems ;)

Exactly what he said,

I have a 102.3 mounted in the top of Lian Li G70 and I get no problems.

Every 6 months or so I do need to slightly bleed the system though.

A good rez will take all the air out, no matter where its located.

Got a XSPC Bay rez in my PC-70 and really can't fault it.

Got a photo of your loop? I would appriciate seeing how you have routed things

Prob a bit late bit here you go:

I erge you not to pay attention to anything other than the loop positioning as anything else is a right state...
