COD4 clan: Wolf Pack

As mentioned in the 'your best match' topic, me and some cod4 buddies are setting up a new clan.

The clan is mainly meant for fun and training. The fun is already there as the clan was spontaneously created when trying to work together on a public TDM server. Nearly all members play on this server and it's fun playing against each other daily.

The training is a part we are still working on, I'd like to ask Jim for a favour here. Would it be possible to set up a 12 slot training server with password for the clan?

One of us is, but we're intending to train One is actually quite good, I'm improving rapidly after having only played seriously for a few weeks.

why didnt we do this last year. that way uni wouldnt get in the way of me playing. Dont think that this laptop would be able to cope with the stress of cod4 lmao. whats the min ati card that can run it ???

I'm on uni too, we're no hardcore clan or anything No idea about laptop ATi cards to be honest, I know an nVidia 8400M can run it pretty well.

Cheers for the link youngie Although I'm hoping for the solution mrapoc suggests, it'd rock to have an oc3d hosted server. I believe most matches are 5v5, 12 slots would allow for 2 spectators.

You can apply (and be accepted as soon as I see it ) on xfire, also the gameserver we are usually on is at 87.118.123.81:28960

altho to have the oc3d server it would need some form of partnership/adverts/direct relationship with oc3d to make it worth their while.

never got into cod 4 on pc, more 360 game for me.

altho if theres a smaller server set up with mainly people from the forums id probably pick up a copy and play a few nights a week

I'd have to sort my mic out and also get some kind of server to play on The latter is the biggest problem.

Next year's iSeries would be cool but is probably not going to happen as one of the clan members is in croatia and the others aren't exactly close either

EDIT: Jim, what if you could set up a small server with access for oc3d and wolfpack members? That way both groups can enjoy it, and I think that when it's neccessary we can behave like adults and agree who plays when.

mhmm ill have a quick look around, i might buy the throat mic thats coming out for the 360 with mw2 and just mod it so it works with my pc
