Greetings to all.... i see the topic has developed quite nice. As most of you know Im one of the most regular players on the servers (mostly nr1). Did you consider that the lack of ppl and lower ranking could do something with the fact that the game is pretty old and a lot of ppl lost interest in it! If u want nr2 to become more popular you HAVE TO put some messages on the nr1 mentioning the other IP cos 80 % of ppl on 1 dont even know about the nr2! Also put settings more for pros (no GL, Marty, heli, AS....) with some mod! And the messages on nr1 should be put up ASAP (English only, No cheating....) Also smbdy mentioned above that its like a Serbian chat room. Maybe so, but almost half the ppl on the server is Croat or Serb so you can understand why they use Croatian/Serbian... In fact I'm a Croat and a lot of them dont know English so they use their native language.... And its nothing offensive, belive me! Just plain in-game chatting.
 
That was me about the Serbian Chat room thing ;) have they not heard of team speak or ventrilo or Xfire they are all easier than typing. I am not sure if it puts people off but it frustrates me cos its an english speaking server and IA like to take part in the conversations if i can.

I agree with the server message display. I have been typing the details into the chat on server 1 to advertise it and it has worked. I think the hardcore is working but it does only attract a certain type of player, who has been playing a while and is looking for something different.:yumyum:

On a side note I arrive at Pula airport 02 Aug for my hols in Bibinje - happy days
 
Temp banned from #2 again. This time it was |ASD|Nooben and |ASD|Balbosa using the server as if it was their own private server, kicking people as soon as they join. Note: this is the same guys who threatened with banning me a week ago or two when I didnt want to change team so they could play their clan versus the rest. The same guys who randomly spam callvotes to kick people they don't like. Etc.
 
Sorry mate by the time I got on it was empty :( will keep an eye out for them but I am away for a bit soon for hols :)
 
TBH i think that there needs to be more server admins, as with two large servers it is getting out of hand, i went onto server 1 and inside 5 mins 4 players were votekicked by vote spammers.

Not to cause offence, but with so few admins, and no real DEFINATE way to contact them, these problems are bound to happen.
 
aimbotter on #1 even with pb on. He is also changing name all the time so cant kick him.

Edit: banned from #2 again btw. Put a server message "frakt is not cheating" =( this is stupid. I get kicked every time I play.

TBH i get the same bs, i got banned from another server for "hacking" when i got a 38 kill streak.

I dont even bother to go on the oc3d servers anymore, because they are full of votespamming idiots, rednecks and general idiots.
 
Stupid kick-spammers on #2 again.. got kicked just after joining. So yes, I'm banned again. I think I have about 100 bans from that server now.
 
This forum spam or this getting banned? =) I just got kicked and tempbanned from #2 again. they called a vote as soon as I joined a team.
 
Cant you change your name? I know it's not ideal and you have nothing to hide, but it might mean you get to play.

Are we sure there isn't a way to turn off vote calling when ertain IDs come online? I guess, as it's Rcon, you can't give frakt severly limited admin powers? So that he can turn on/off voting.

most of the bans are not because of my name, its just "we want to play or private little 3vs3 here" or "chiter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" by ppl who has never seen me before.. They usually dont say anything but that's what I'm guessing they are thinking.
 
My son saw that Frakt was banned from server 2 so informed me, by the time I got on it was empty. Frakt said he was gonna get names but did not get back to me.

My sons ID is LittleLee and he is a total noob but everyone has to start somewhere.

I am still campaigning to het them to speak english, lots of Polish on yesterday never had a clue what they were talking about :nono:

he didnt manage to get me kicked that time but he and his clan mates has gotten me kicked many times.

I did get kicked a while later anyways :\ so now I'm banned from #2 again.

EDIT: I do often join oc3d #1 if I get banned from #2. but I dont stay for long because its absolutely rubbish. That server has at least 20 too many people. Everyone is still spamming grenades all over the place.
 
This is beyond stupid, you should really moniter that server. Its not fair for good players like frakt to get kicked everytime he kills a stupid noob that doesnt understand the game. MONITER THE SERVER plx :)
 
I didnt say 27/7 but i go on oc3d quite often i i hardly ever see an admins. This week i have seen 1 and i have been on it nearly everyday. Im just saying you could at least check on the server instead of ignoring it.
